There were a lot of cow pastures there. I always had a \"thing\" for the black and white cows. In my child like mind, I see these delightful creatures in amongst a grove of tulips. Heart tulips. Here is my \"vision\" of those MOOOOOOving characters, grazing in the tulip fields....\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eI always use 4lb Fire Line fishing line to stitch; a long, size 12 beading needle; size 11\/0 Delica beads; size 15\/0 seed beads for the trim and I chose to use a toggle bar and ring for the closure.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eI used 9 different colors for a total of 1891 beads! There are 19 columns and 199 rows.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eI have added a simple 3-bead picot trim to MOO COW. This step is optional.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe finished size of MOO COW is 1 1\/8 inches (which includes the trim) by 6 3\/4 inches before adding the clasp.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eTo lengthen the piece simply add rows of Delica #1577 (the blue one) to each end before you add the final black\/white rows, until you reach your desired length.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eI hope you enjoy working MOO COW!
