I was thinking of this song while I was designing this lip balm cover!\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eI stitched the original using a size 12 beading needle and 4lb FIRELINE fishing line.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eI used size 11\/0 Delica beads to create this pattern and size 15\/0 seeds for the 3-bead picot trim.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eI have used some lovely gold metallic size 15\/0 round seed beads for the trim. THIS STEP IS OPTIONAL.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eWhen you’ve completed the design, you will \"zip\" up the back by going in and out of each side. I stitch the top\/bottom beads twice to secure. Weave in your ends.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eI used 6 colors making 33 columns and 66 rows using a total of 1221 beads.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe cover as designed measures 2 3\/4 inches around by a 1 7\/8 inches tall.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eWow, 1975 was a long time ago.
