I love the play of color off of black and white. In this design I got the chance to experience THAT play! I hope enjoy this design. It was so fun for me to create!\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eI always use 4lb Fire Line fishing line to stitch; a long, size 12 beading needle; size 11\/0 Delica beads; size 15\/0 seed beads for the trim and I chose to use a toggle bar and ring for the closure. This is an odd count peyote pattern.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eI used 9 different colors for a total of 2111 beads! There are 21 columns and 201 rows.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eI have added a simple 3-bead trim. To work the 3-beaded trim, come out the very 1st Delica bead, then simply pick up 3-size 15\/0 seeds and go back into the next Delica. Work this across the top and bottom. I used a variety of seeds this time to include, teal, amber, red, hot pink, lime and purple, all silver lined. I stitched them in a pattern. This step is optional.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe finished size of STARBURST is 1 1\/4 inches wide (which includes the trim) by 6 3\/4 inches before adding the clasp.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIf you need to lengthen the piece, SIMPLY add to each end, following established pattern.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eSo much fun in this design!
